And digital simply means to go online, so digital marketing simply means that we are promoting our business & services online on the social media, Search engines.

SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

SEO stands for Search engine optimization and we use it to rank out website on search engines like – google, Bing, Yahoo etc. & In simple language if we want to rank our website on the 1st page, we must do SEO of our website.
How SEO works?
If any user comes to search engine and started searching his/her query so after that search engines show relatable results on the search engines. Have you ever imagined how search engines showing relatable results??

I will tell you by one example you can understand very easily
Suppose I have a business of hotels in Mathura so for the marketing it must have one website so fist I will make a website and provide all the information about my website regarding hotels.
If the website is SEO friendly so when any one search on any search engine that best hotels in Mathura so It will show my hotels website on the fist page.

If you wanted to rank your website on search engines 1st page your website must be SEO friendly so it will automatically show my website on the 1st page.
For ranking our website on the 1st page first we must understand the basics.

2. Crawling – to find your website’s data into their data base.
3. Retrieval – after finding the best relatable content from your website it will fetch that data.
4. Ranking – after finding the best and relatable content from your website it will automatically rank your website on the first page.
   

For example – I am a hotel owner in Mathura, and I made a SEO friendly website and now if anyone search on search engine that best hotel in Mathura so search engine will check their giant database this is indexing and find best relatable result it is crawling and fetch the best data it is retrieval and showing the best and related result to customer on the 1st page it is retrieval.
